Try this appetizing Ethiopian bread next to your lunch today


1 kg flour

1 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 tablespoon coriander seeds

2 tablespoons black sesame seeds

1 tablespoon instant yeast

½ cup corn oil

½ cup miranda

½ cup raisins

2 cups warm water

How to Cook:

Place all of the ingredients into a big bowl.

Gradually add the water and knead very well to form a soft dough.

Cover the dough and let it rest for half an hour.

After the dough has rested, knead it again. Cover and let it rest for another half an hour. Knead it for the last time and put it on an oily tray.

Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Bake the bread for around 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Makes 2 Loaves of bread
