1 kg onions

3 tablespoons corn oil

3 garlic cloves, smashed

3 tablespoons flour

7 cups water

1 tablespoon cumin

12 tablespoons grated gruyere cheese

6 toasted bread

salt and pepper

How to Cook:

Cut the onion into thin slices and fry them with the garlic until golden brown. Then, add the flour and mix well. Next, gradually add the water. Lastly, add cumin, salt and pepper. Let it simmer until it thickens.

Serve in a bowl, place on top 1 toasted bread and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of gruyere cheese. Bake in oven until cheese melts. Serve hot.
