2 medium onions, cut into small slices

1 garlic clove, smashed

½ cup lemon juice

½ cup orange juice

3 tablespoons olive oil

¼ cup fried pine nuts

1 cup water

salt to taste

How to Cook:

In a pot on the stove, fry the onions with one tablespoon of olive oil, until they change color. Then, add half a cup of water and let it simmer on low heat, for 6 to 7 minutes.

In a bowl, mix the garlic and tahini with the remaining water. Then, add the lemon juice and the orange juice. Mix well.

Pour the tahini on the onions and stir them until they start boiling. Leave on low heat for 6 to 8 minutes.

Put the sauce in a bowl and spread the pine nuts over.

You can add to the sauce grilled pieces of fish.
