zucchini ablama

For an excellent homey dish rich in vegetables and meat: try this Zucchini Ablama Sousous's way


1 kilo zucchini


200 g minced meat

2 medium onions, diced

1 tablespoon corn oil

salt and pepper


3 cups water

1 cup tomato sauce

1 tablespoon tomato paste

salt  and pepper


1 cup uncle bens rice

¼ cup vermicelli

1 tablespoon corn oil

1 ¾ cups water

salt to taste

How to Cook:

Empty the inside of zucchini.

In a pot on the stove, fry the onions with oil until they change color. Add the meat and stir until the water evaporates. Then, add salt and pepper. Fill the zucchini with meat. Place them in a Pyrex and broil them in the oven until the zucchini becomes tender.


Mix well the tomato paste with water and tomato sauce. Then, add salt and pepper

Pour the sauce over zucchini and bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until the sauce thickens.


 Soak the rice in water for half an hour before cooking.

Fry a quarter cup of vermicelli. Then, add the rice with 1¾ cups of water. Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat and cook the rice until all the  water evaporates
