vegetarian noodles

This Vegetarian Noodles is the best simple side for small get-together and dinners with friends! You can get creative and add your own choice of protein source like chicken, meat, or shrimps.


1 pack noodles

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons light soy sauce


1 big onion sliced

2 garlic smashed

½ sweet green pepper

½ sweet yellow pepper

½ sweet red pepper

3 carrots cut into long and thin

1 cup sliced red cabbage

1 cup sliced green cabbage

10 fresh mushrooms sliced

2 tablespoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons light soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

salt and pepper

How to Cook:


In a pan, boil water. When it starts boiling, turn off the stove and drop the noodles in. Then, cover the pan for six minutes. Drain the noodles.


In a pan, fry the onion and garlic with oil until they change color. Add the peppers and fry for 5 more minutes. Then, add the carrots and cabbages and cook for another 5 minutes. Next, add the mushrooms and keep on low heat for another 7 minutes. Lastly, add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt and pepper. Take off from the stove and keep aside.

In another pot, fry the noodles with oil for 2 minutes. Then, add the soy sauce and keep stirring until noodles are cooked.

Add the prepared vegetables and mix together.

Optional – You can grill 2 chicken breasts and cut into long pieces to add to the noodles.
