This cake recipe features a delicious mix of dried fruits, and a great option to prepare a special cake away from the traditional version. Prepare it with Sousou and enjoy its colorful and rich taste.


500 g butter

500 g powdered sugar

500 g flour

9 eggs

3 teaspoons baking powder

3 tablespoons powdered milk

1 tablespoon grated lemon rind

1 pinch vanilla

½ cup dried fruits

2 tablespoons flour for the fruits

How to Cook:

Soak the dried fruit in rum and 2 tablespoons of water.

With an electric mixer, beat the butter, sugar, rind and vanilla until it becomes light and fluffy.

Add the eggs one at a time, making sure to mix well after each addition.

Stir in the flour & powdered milk, in four batches. Then, add the baking powder.

Drain the dried fruit and mix them with the flour and add them to the mixture. Spread the mixture in a buttered Pan.
