This time, Sousou transforms the traditional Chicken and Potatoes recipe into an exceptional dish. The secret lies in her choice of spices and seasoning.


6 chicken legs, each cut in two pieces

3 chicken breasts, each cut in four pieces

5 potatoes, peeled and cut into big cubes

2 squeezed lemons

2 tablespoons olive oil

10 small onions, peeled

1½ teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

2 cups water

1 teaspoon sumac

3 tablespoons oregano

2 g arlic cloves, smashed

How to Cook:

Heat the potatoes in a pot with water. When the water starts boiling remove them and strain them.

Mix the garlic, oil, lemon and oregano together. Then, add salt, black pepper, sumac and water.

Put the chicken, potatoes and onions in a big tray. Then add the marinade.

Broil the chicken in the oven for 1 hour or until golden brown.
