Ingredients

Cake:

 

  • 3 Eggs
  • Sugar (equal to the weight of 3 eggs)
  • Butter (equal to the weight of 3 eggs)
  • Flour (equal to the weight of 3 eggs)
  • 2 Teaspoons instant coffee
  • 1 Teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • 1 Pinch vanilla
  • 1 Teaspoon baking powder

 

Topping:

 

  • 250 Grams dark chocolate
  • 40 Grams butter
  • 6 Tablespoons water
  • 50 Grams grilled almonds, chopped

How to Cook:

Cake:

 

  • Beat the eggs, sugar, vanilla and lemon rind with an electric mixer in a bowl for 5 to 6 minutes.
  • Beat the butter in a separate bowl, until it becomes creamy.
  • Stir in the flour using a spatula. Then add the coffee and baking powder.
  • Pour the mixture into a buttered pan.
  • Bake in the oven at 200 degrees C. for 40 minutes.
  • Unmold the cake into a plate.

 

Topping:

 

  • Break the chocolate and put it in one pan. Then, add 6 tablespoons of water. Stir it on low heat until it becomes smooth and creamy. Turn off the heat. Then, add the butter.
  • Spread the cream over the cake. Garnish with chopped almonds.
