Fish & chips, a classic the whole family will enjoy. This home made version is simply delicious!

Ingredients

500 g skinned sea bass fish filet

1 cup self raising flour

½ cup water

500 g potatoes

oil for deep fry

salt

lemon wedges

How to Cook:

Cut the fish into 4 pieces

Mix the flour and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Then form a well in the center. Gradually pour in the water, mix well to form a smooth batter. Set aside to rest for 30 min.

Cut the potatoes into slices about 1 cm wide. Rinse with water and dry well.

Heat the oil in a deep fryer and fry the potatoes, place them on a kitchen towel.

Before frying the fish, season them with salt.

Stir the batter then dip the pieces of fish in it allowing the excess to drain.

Dip the fish into the oil and fry for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.

Drain the fish on a kitchen towel.

Serve the fish with the potato chips and season them with salt
