fresh buffalo mozzarella tart

With a tasty and easy crust, filled with tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese and basil, this tart makes a beautiful breakfast, lunch or dinner. We’re pretty sure that you will fall in love with it from the first bite.


1 shortcrust dough

½ jar pesto sauce

¾ cup tomato sauce

150 g shredded mozzarella cheese

12 small fresh buffalo mozzarella

4 tomatoes, diced

1 tablespoon dried basil

10 basil leaves

10 seedless black olives, chopped

How to Cook:

Roll the dough between two nylon sheets.

Place the dough in a pie pan and cover it with wax paper; spread over some dry beans and bake in the oven for 10 minutes, then remove the paper and beans and bake until golden

Combine the pesto sauce with tomato sauce and spread over the dough. Then, add the shredded cheese and place the buffalo mozzarella over. Next, sprinkle the diced tomato in between. Sprinkle over the dried basil.

Bake in the oven until the cheese melts.

Decorate with the basil leaves and black olives.
