Who doesn’t have fond memories of grandma’s cakes and how she used to guard her secret recipes. Sousou is now sharing hers and it’s perfect for tea and snacks!
Ingredients
3 Cups flour
2 Cups sugar
1 Cup corn oil
1 Cup orange juice
5 Eggs
3 Teaspoons baking powder
1 Pinch salt
1 Pinch vanilla
1 Teaspoon grated lemon rind
2 Tablespoons grated orange rind
3 Tablespoons sifted cocoa

How to Cook:
Beat the eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt, orange rind and lemon rind in a medium-sized bowl with an electric mixer until it becomes fluffy.
Stir in the flour and orange juice in three batches. Then, add the corn oil and baking powder.
Spread ¾ of the mixture in a buttered pan. Then, using a spatula, add the sifted cocoa to the remaining mixture. Pour it into the same buttered pan.
Bake in the oven at 180 degrees C for 50 to 55 minutes.
