Looking for a killer idea for birthdays and gatherings? How about the beautiful hotdog pizza made with both mozzarella and gruyere! Surprise them.

Ingredients

Dough:

2 cups flour

2 tablespoons olive oil

¼ teaspoon sugar

¼ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon instant yeast

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ to ¾ cup water

Filling:

3 cups small hot dogs

½ cup ketchup

½ cup oregano

6 seeded black olives

½ sweet green pepper, sliced

200 g grated mozzarella and gruyere cheese

How to Cook:

Dough:

1 – Mix the flour, salt and sugar in a bowl. Make a hole in the center and pour in the instant yeast & baking powder. Next, add the oil. Then, gradually add water and knead it to form a dough.

2 – Place the dough onto a floured work surface. Knead it until it becomes smooth.

3 – Shape the dough to form 1 big and 1 small ball. Cover and let it rest for one hour

4 – Roll out the big ball to form a large, flat round dough and then place it on a tray 32 cm diameter. Using the small ball, roll out three pieces sized 42 cm x 6 cm.

5 – In each piece, place eleven small hot dogs next to each other and then place them around the round dough. Bake the dough in the oven until golden.

Pizza:

1 – Cut the remaining hot dog in circles. Put one layer of ketchup on the dough and then spread some of oregano. Then, add the hot dogs circles, the sweet pepper and the olives. Lastly, add the cheese and decorate with the remaining oregano.

2 – Bake in oven until cheese melts.
