Made with a bulgar wheat base, this salad is tangy and filling.

1 cup thin cracked wheat (bulgur)

2 tablespoons corn oil

1 medium onion, diced

1 cup tomato sauce

1 cup chopped parsley

2 green onions, chopped

4 red tomatoes, diced

½ cup chopped mint

4 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon spicy red pepper paste

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1 tablespoon pomegranate molasses

salt and pepper to taste

How to Cook:

In a pan, fry the onion until it changes color.

Stir in the cracked wheat (bulgur).

Add the tomato sauce, lemon juice and spicy red pepper paste and leave aside for 15 minutes until cold.

Add the parsley, green onions, diced tomatoes, mint and olive oil. Then, add pomegranate molasses, salt, pepper and tomato paste.

Mix to obtain a soft salad.
