lemon mushroom sauce

This lemon mushroom sauce is the best sauce you’ll ever make. Perfect recipe that can be ready in minutes, and it’s a great addition to any grilled chicken or steak dish.


1 onion, thinly cut

500 g fresh mushrooms, whole or cut in half

2 squeezed lemons

1 tablespoon flour

1 tablespoon oil

2 chicken maggi cubes dissolved in 200 ml water

salt, black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons parsley, thinly cut

How to Cook:

In a medium saucepan, fry the onions until golden, then add the mushrooms.

When mushrooms start releasing their water, add the flour and the dissolved chicken stock. Cook on low heat until sauce is reduced by half.

Add the lemon juice and the parsley and cook for 5 more minutes.

Serve as an accompaniment to steak or grilled chicken.
