noodle with minced beef

Ingredients

300 g egg noodles

300 g minced beef

6  spring onions, chopped

5 carrots, sliced

½  sweet green pepper, diced

½ sweet red pepper, diced

4 tablespoons corn oil

½ cup water

50 g fresh green peas

½ small bottle of ketchup

4 tablespoons soy sauce

salt and cayenne pepper

¼ Cup grilled sesame seeds

½ Cup grilled cashew nuts

How to Cook:

In a pot, boil water with one-teaspoon salt. Once water starts boiling, turn the heat off and add the noodles. Close the pot and leave for 5 to 6 minutes. Next, drain the noodles and set aside.

Fry the minced beef with two tablespoons of oil; then, add salt and pepper and set aside.

In another pan, fry the spring onions and place aside. Repeat the same procedure for the carrots, peppers and the fresh green peas. Then, add them all together with the water and let simmer on low heat for 8 minutes.

Add the noodles to the vegetables. Next, add the meat, ketchup and soy sauce. Mix then on low heat for 4 to 5 minutes. Place in a serving plate and spread the sesame seeds and cashew nuts over it.
