It’s all in the name when it comes to this pasta that almost all Arabs adore! Ask Sousou about it, she excels in it!

Ingredients

  • 250g Penne pasta
  • 2 Tomatoes, peeled and cut into small cubes
  • ½ Sweet green pepper, cut into small cubes
  • 1 Medium onion, cut into small cubes
  • 3 Cloves garlic, cut round
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon red hot pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 100g grated mozzarella cheese

How to Cook:
  • Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a pot and add 1 tablespoon of oil. Then, add the pasta and cook it until al dente.
  • Drain the pasta and pour one cup of cold water on it. Set aside.
  • In a separate pan, fry the onion and garlic with oil until golden. Then, add the sweet green pepper and mix for 5 minutes. Next, add the tomatoes and the red-hot pepper and leave it on low heat for 15 minutes. Then, season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and sprinkle some cheese on the top.
