rigatoni pasta with pink sauce

It’s a simple, but satisfying dish that is perfect when you need to keep things easy. It combines rigatoni pasta and vegetables in a rich creamy pink sauce that is incredibly satisfying. Prepare step by step with Sousou.


400 g rigatoni pasta

4 garlic cloves, smashed

1 medium onion, cubed

1 red spicy pepper, cubed

1 kg soft & red tomatoes, cubed

2 tablespoons corn oil

½ cup cut & seedless olives

200 g ham, cubed

200 g grated gruyere cheese

300 ml fresh cream

How to Cook:

Boil water with one teaspoon of oil, & ¼ teaspoon salt; then, add the pasta & boil it for 5 to 6 minutes. Strain it. Pour one cup of cold water over the pasta.

In another pan, fry the onion, garlic & red pepper with oil. Add the tomato and let it simmer on low heat for 10 minutes or until it thickens. Add the ham, fresh cream and olives. Then, add 100 grams cheese.

Mix sauce with pasta and top with cheese.
