roasted veal fillet

This juicy roasted veal filet is simple and delicious! Once you prepare it with Sousou, you will make it part of your cooking routine. Seasoned with herbs and peppers, this recipe is real crowd pleaser.


1 kg veal fillet (app. 1.1 kg)

½ cup corn oil

2 teaspoons herb de provence

2 teaspoons lemon pepper

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

How to Cook:

Mix all of the spices together in a small bowl and rub the entire fillet with it and with corn oil.

Place it in the refrigerator for a minimum 3 hours. Make sure to remove it 30 min ahead of cooking.

Heat a pan, then fry the fillet on all sides until golden. Transfer it on a roasting tray and bake it in the oven for 30 minutes on medium heat.

Suggestion: Serve it with corn and broccoli, and lemon mushroom sauce…
