roquefort cheese tart

This classic Roquefort Tart recipe is sure to delight you and your family! It looks as impressive as it tastes.

Ingredients

DOUGH

250 g flour

125 g melted butter

1 pinch salt

1/3 cup water

FILLING

300 g grated roquefort cheese

100 g mozzarella, grated

1 pack feta cheese, mashed

50 g fresh oregano, chopped

1 big onion, diced

1 tablespoon corn oil

2 eggs

300 ml fresh cream

½ teaspoon black pepper

salt to taste

100 g gruyere cheese, grated

How to Cook:

DOUGH:

In a bowl, place the flour, salt, & melted butter. Add water. Knead well using your hands to form a dough. Cover with nylon film. Leave for half an hour.

Roll out the dough and place it into a tart tray.

Bake it in the oven until golden.

FILLING:

In a pan, fry the onions with oil and keep aside.

In a bowl, combine the Roquefort, mozzarella and feta cheese. Add the onion and the fresh oregano and mix well.

Spread the mixture onto the dough.

Beat the eggs with a fork and add the fresh cream, black pepper and salt. Spread this mixture over the tart, then sprinkle the Gruyere cheese.

Bake in a moderate oven until the cheese melts.
