It’s is an egg-free Lebanese dessert made with carob molasses (or debs el kharoub), which is traditionally prepared in Lebanon, mainly in the South, from carob pods. Enjoy a healthy vegan sfouf recipe that’s naturally sweetened.

Ingredients

6 cups flour

3 cups carob molasses

2 tablespoons sugar

1 cup olive or corn oil

1 cup milk or water

6 teaspoons baking powder

How to Cook:

Put the flour, carob molasses, sugar and milk in a bowl. Then add oil and baking powder. Mix well by hands.

Spread the mixture in an oiled tray (35 cm)

Bake in oven at 200 degrees C, for 35 to 40 minutes
