You might have heard or tried the amazing and healthy Soufouf cake, yet Sousou did them with an amazing walnut stuffing! Stand out with Sousou!

Ingredients

SFOUF

4 cups flour

2 cups sugar

100 g butter

3 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon orange blossom water

1 teaspoon rosewater

½ cup water for the sugar

FILLING

½ kilo grounded walnuts

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon orange blossom water

1 teaspoon rosewater

How to Cook:

FILLING:

Combine all ingredients together.

SFOUF:

In a pan, combine the sugar, water, and butter on low heat, then keep aside to cool.

In a bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder, rosewater and orange blossom water. Then, add the mixture of sugar and butter. Combine well to form a sticky dough.

In a buttered tray put half of the mixture of sfouf and moisten it well. Then spread the mixture of walnut. Cover with the remaining dough. Moisten well the top.

Bake in the oven at 200 degree C. until golden brown.
