shrimps and pineapple fried rice

A fried rice dish made with shrimps and pineapple. An amazing combination of sweet and savory that turn this simple dish into a flavorful meal everyone will love. Prepare it step by step with Sousou.

Ingredients

4 cups boiled rice

1 medium ripe pineapple

¼ cup corn oil

3 garlic cloves, chopped

2 medium onions, cut into cubes

1 fresh red chili, chopped

1 fresh green chili, chopped

200 g raw prawns

2 tablespoons fish sauce

3x tablespoons soy sauce

salt and pepper

TOPPING

2 tablespoons basil, finely chopped

2 spring onions, finely sliced

How to Cook:

Peel the pineapple and cut it into small cubes

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Then, add the garlic, onions and chilies and fry them. Next, add the prawns and cook for 3 minutes.

Remove the prawns and fry the pineapple until golden brown.

In another pan, add the remaining oil, put the rice and heat it. Then, add the Prawns mixture and the fried pineapple. Finally, add the soya sauce, fish sauce, salt and pepper. Mix well.

Scatter spring onions and basil on top.

Serve immediately…
