thyme and olive bread

Sousou shares her Thyme and Olive Bread recipe. A quick and easy to do, flavorful bread to enjoy with labneh or cheese.


3 cups of flour

½ cup thyme, chopped

2 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon instant yeast

1 cup black olives, chopped

1 teaspoon salt

1 ¼ cup water

How to Cook:

In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients together and mix it well. Then add the water and mix again until the dough is formed.

Cover the dough in a bowl with a nylon sheet and leave to rest for 8 hours.

Once the dough is rested, sprinkle some flour on your working surface and slightly knead the dough.

Divide the dough into 8 small pieces and place on a baking pan Cover with nylon sheet and let it rest for another 30 mins.

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Celsius and then bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes.

Serve with labneh or cheese
