Traditional Thyme Kaak. Combine thyme, sesame, and olive oil.


3½ cups flour

1 cup olive oil

¾ teaspoon salt

5 tablespoons thyme

1 teaspoon baking powder

¼ teaspoon baking soda

1 cup sesame

¾ to 1 cup water

How to Cook:

Place all of the ingredients in a bowl, except for the sesame seeds.

Knead ingredients together until mixture turns into a soft dough. Cover with nylon sheet and a towel. Let it rest for one hour.

Take a small ball of dough and roll it by hand.

Put the sesame seeds in a plate.

Roll the dough in the sesame seeds.

Form the dough into the shape you prefer. Place it in an oiled tray.

Continue the same procedure until all the dough has finished. Bake them in the oven until golden brown.
