vegetarian pizza

Pizza is a favourite in every house, give Sousou’s vegetarian version a try. Full of goodness and simply delicious!



1½ cups flour

¼ teaspoon sugar

¼ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon instant yeast

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ cup water

1½ tablespoons olive oil


1½ Tablespoons olive oil

100 grams tomato sauce

100 grams light gruyere cheese

100 grams light mozzarella cheese

8 seedless black olives

salt, black pepper and red pepper

200 g fresh mushrooms sliced

½  sweet green pepper, cut into cubes

2 red tomatoes cut into cubes

100 g fresh green beans cut into pieces

½ small cauliflower, cut into pieces

1  big eggplant cut into cubes

4 carrots cut into circles

4 zucchini cut into circles

½ cup oregano

How to Cook:


Mix the flour, salt and sugar in a bowl. Make a hole in the center and pour in the instant yeast and baking powder. Then, add the oil. Next, gradually add water and knead it to form dough.

Place the dough on a floured work surface. Knead it until it becomes smooth.

Shape the dough to form one big ball. Cover the dough and let it rest for one hour.

Roll out the ball to form a big flat round dough. Place it in a big tray.

Bake it in the oven until it takes color.


Place the zucchini, carrots, eggplant and cauliflower in a baking pan. Then, add the mushrooms, sweet green pepper, green beans and tomatoes. Lastly, add oil, salt and peppers. Mix well and bake in the oven until the vegetables are tender.


Preheat the oven for 10 minutes.

Cover the dough with the tomato sauce. Then, spread some oregano. Next, add one layer of the cooked vegetables, then, the black olives and cover with cheese. Lastly, add some oregano on top.

Bake the pizza until the cheese melts.
