Ingredients

  •  DOUGH
  • 2 Cups flour
  • 1 Tablespoon milk powder
  • ½ Teaspoon sugar
  • ½ Teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 Teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 Teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 Cup water
  • FILLING
  • 2 ½ Cups chopped wild thyme leaves
  • 2 Medium onions, diced
  • 2 Medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1 Tablespoon sumac
  • Salt and pepper
  • ½ Cup olive oil
  • 3 Tablespoons lemon juice

How to Cook:
  • DOUGH
  • In a bowl, place all dough ingredients together and knead well to form a dough. If the dough is too stiff, add more water. Divide the dough into two pieces.
  • Cover with a nylon sheet and a kitchen cloth.
  • Let it rest for 2 hours
  • FILLING
  • Mix all the ingredients together and set aside.
  • MANOUCHE
  • Roll out the dough on a floured table. Cut it with a round cookie cutter to create a round dough.
  • Put in each round dough one tablespoon of the mixture of thyme.
  • Place them in an oiled baking tray.
  • Bake in the oven until they change color.
  • 26 pieces
