Ingredients

300 g minced meat

2 onions, diced

2 garlic cloves, smashed

2 tablespoons olive oil

500 g tomatoes, peeled and diced

1 tablespoon tomato paste

1½ kg zucchinis, cut into round pieces

3½ cups water

1 cinnamon stick

salt and pepper to taste

rice

1 cup uncle benz rice

¼ cup vermicelli

1 tablespoon corn oil

1¾ cups water

salt to taste

How to Cook:

In a pot on the stove, fry the onions with oil until they change color. Then, add the meat and stir until water evaporates. Then, add the garlic and tomatoes and stir for 7 minutes. Next, add the zucchinis, tomato paste and water. Lastly, add cinnamon stick, salt and pepper.

When it starts boiling, reduce the heat and let simmer on low heat until the sauce thickens and zucchinis are done.

Soak the rice in water for half an hour before cooking.

Fry a quarter cup of vermicelli. Then, add the rice along with 1¾ cups of water

Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat and cook the rice until all water evaporates.
